Re: Club internet domains
FWIW, it would be possible, and maybe even preferred, to set up clubs' sites both ways, as subdomains and a user friendly domain name. For example, the Chicago Killifish Association site could be accessed from www.ChicagoKillies.org or ChiKA.aka.org The advantage of the former is that it's more friendly to non-AKAers, IMHO, while the later syntax may be easier for many members who want to find other clubs sites. I would know to type in GCKA.aka.org, since I already know the acronym. But I may not know the exact syntax of a friendly URL, i.e., CincyKillies.org or CincinnatiKillies.org or GreaterCincyKillies.org, etc.
