It's not that I dislike organized sports but that it's a direct affront
to any intelligent person who is emotionally semi-mature.
It's not my idea of what is exciting. Paying 300 lb. masses of mussel to
beat the hell out of one another (under the guise of sports) just brings
visions of the Roman Coliseum and the social ramifications on the people
of that day.
I would rather not be linked to this "group of people". Quite frankly,
the owners of professional sports should cut to the chase and just
pander to the base emotions of "the people" and have gladiatorial
contests. You could give two
300 lb. brutes helmets,shields, clubs and
let them beat the hell out of one another.
At least they would justify the outrageous
salaries they demand .
I know this will NOT be popular with many but through out history there
have always been more orifi than people. Hope I have not offended any
one .... if so I apologize
