There is no substitute for petri dishes. No other egg storage containers
make better coasters. If your spouses see egg hatching containers they will
think that there are more fish coming and then more tanks. This can cause
more disharmony in your home than you need. So if you camouflage your eggs
as coasters by setting them about on the coffee table no one will notice
until its too late. :^)

We have a real collection of unlike containers, kids have brought us all
kinds of stuff.
What we find now works well and eliminates the storage problems created
by odd sizes, are the small plastic storage containers sold by ziploc,
they are not too expensive, easy to get at the market, easy to clean up,
and stack well for storage, the lids are tight and our labels stick well
to them.

Hi,
Long ago I was given some plastic storage boxes which might have been
used to
store small nuts or bolts from a machine shop. The plastic box is three
inches square and is one inch high. It has a fairly tight fitting
plastic
cover. Has anyone every seen this type of plastic box or would know
where to
buy some? It is a good size for a dozen eggs, cleans and stacks easily.
