Not to offer any excuses, but sometimes the information is incomplete.  If a speaker has confirmed, then list his/her name.  Add bio, topic and other information as it becomes available.  However, if a speaker has not made a firm commitment, then his or her name should not be listed at all, even if you feel confident that they'll be there.  Its easier to erase a name that's never posted than it is to retract one that's been published.
