Sexing juvenile E. Chaperi

I'd like to seperate some of my E. Chaperi from the community tank they're 
in...but they're fairly young and I'm having troubling sexing them.  The 
main difference I'm noticing from fish to fish is size and more orange 
coloring in the fins of some fish.

Is is as simple as: the males are the bigger ones with more colorful fins?
