Cactus League Expedition

During a conversation with a Left Coast killie keeper, who also happens to
be a baseball fan, he suggested that the Arizona Rivulin Keepers might want
to have a special program at their March meeting and encourage other
baseball fan-killie keepers to come to Phoenix for Spring Training.  Quite a
few teams are part of the Cactus League.  They include:
Arizona Diamondbacks
Anaheim Angels
Chicago Cubs
Chicago White Sox
Colorado Rockies
 Milwaukee Brewers
Oakland A's
San Diego Padres
San Francisco Giants
Seattle Mariners

I'd like to know what level of interest there is for such an event.  We are
not talking about a fish show or convention, just a regular club meeting,
but one with an "outside" speaker.  This would provide you with the
opportunity to attend one or two Spring Training games and hobnob with
killie friends on Saturday night (possibly at the game(s) as well).

The date for this would be either the second or third Saturday in March,
depending upon the baseball schedule.  If this happens and it falls on the
third Saturday, Phoenix International Raceway is hosting the Copper World
racing events (Indy racing), and you might find that attractive too.
