RE: Convention Logo
If you see Susan this weekend at the WACO Show, please share with her the
good thoughts on her work.
It was interesting this year how we settled on a design. Susan sent us 2
initial logos and I emailed the logos to about 30 people both domestically
and overseas asking for their preference. Folks overwhelmingly responded
that they liked the fish on one design and the lettering on the other
design. So we asked Susan to design something that incorporated both and
she added the extra artistic touch of landing the "40th" in the background.
I think she came up with an enduring design for a tee shirt that folks will
want to own at least one of. Volunteerism makes all the difference. Tom
Grady came up with a website design that is attractive and informative and
easy to navigate and update. We expect to use the website as a primary
channel to keep the membership informed of the upcoming events.
