Re: air pump



        Wow!  That is a tough question to answer.  I have had the occasional
Hagen pump parts like the diaphragm need replacement after only six months
to a year.  I think 2-4 years has been my more common experience.  I have
had a couple go 7-10 years before they needed work or replacement.  I have
just generally had greater success with Hagen pumps than any other brand
overall.  So I just stick with them now.  Of course, I dream of a nice
linear piston pump with a pvc pipe delivery system, but the budget requires
that to remain a dream for a while yet.
