RE: KillieTalk Digest V3 #1610
Hi Mike,
I can not send you an attachment on this list so try this:
In MS Access:
Go to the database window
click on New Query, chose select Query.
Add the following fields from the various tables where the information is
already entered:
Lot Number, Fish name, Judging points, fish source
Set the sort type on the "lot number" to "ascending"
Note: the display check box is on by default.
Hit the "run query" icon it looks like "!"
Print the data
Duplicate
Distribute to bidders.
That's it.
If you want to get fancy you could cut and paste the results of the query to
MS Excel for easy formatting or even hack and wack a report to neaten up the
results.
Your done! :^) Tee Hee
If you would like, PK ZIP the empty (data free) MDB and send it to me and
I'll do it for you. Some of the people on this list know how to do it even
better than I do. As I never actually took a computer course. If I can
kidnap my friend for a few minutes, who is an Electrical Engineer with a
computer science specialty, I'll get him to add the various control buttons
etc.
Peace,
~RJ~
