I think you should contact whoever it was and tell them the error of their 
ways.  He may be new to the hobby and not aware of what he did.  Not everyone 
thinks things through as far as they should.  Unless you inform him of what 
he has done he will probably do it again to someone else.  You did not 
mention if the fish arrived in a styrofoam box or if he used heat packs or if 
he sent them priority or express mail.  

Undoubtedly, sending fish on a Saturday is a big no-no.  

I also think you learned how important it is to request that the fish be 
mailed to arrive on a certain day or time of the week.
