Re: Shipping- Kordons bags not necessary
Correct me if I'm wrong, but the breathing bags still require exposure to
air for the gas exchange. If the box is sealed air-tight, to provide
maximum insulation, you only have free exchange within the bax. This would
seem to limit the amount of O2 and CO2 exchange to the air in the box.
Anyone know how much air would be required per pair of fish per day? Does
Kordon have information on O2 and CO2 exchange with a limited amount of air?
How does the rate of exchange change as the concentrations of cO2 and O2
change in the air within the box?
