Re: Sweetwater Air Pumps

I've been using used regenerative blowers from C&H Sales (800-325-9465).
They are now offering a 50 CFM blower (#ACB2100) for $65, and I just
ordered two, as I've had these models before. These things will run my
approximately 100 air outlets to about a depth of 16 inches. While cheap,
they last about two years on average so, based on information from others
who have used Jehmco and Sweetwater pumps at about $200, the new pumps from
those sources are probably better buys in the long term. However, if you are
short of money, you might try the C&H pumps and see how you like them. I'm
also not sure that the two year life I get is the fault of the pump; it
could also be too much back pressure the way I have my units installed (too
much narrow pipe in the wrong places).
