Re: US MAil Service apparently refuses Live animals of all kinds now
I don't know what the hobby will do if this is real and not a mixup.Bill
wrote. will Bill maybe we will have to get back to going to shows .To get
our fish & seeing people with real faces . & breeding what we have verses
just collecting fish. sounds great to me.If you drive 500 miles for a pair
of fish . I know they will get tender love care . maybe this is what the
hobby needs Karl Doering

> Hi all;
> I sent a box of killies from Irwin, Pa (near Pittsburgh) to New Jersey on
Saturday. NO labels other than "keep warm" and/or "Keep at room
Temperature". They got there at the same time the adressee in New Jersey
got his OWN fish back. PO had his for 2 days and returned them to him
stating NO LIVE DELIVERYS. His were labeled LIVE TROPICAL FISH though and
the PO counter locally took them from him to mail with glee(as did mine).
Somewhere in the delivery chain they bounced! He had shipped three boxes
via Express MAIL( I do not know the addresses he sent them to though), mine
was mailed to him via PRIORITY MAIL.

apparently they are being returned to the sender.

Seems maybe tied to FEDEX but I am not sure.
