RE: pop eye
Hi John,
Popeye is often a secondary symptom of a more serious infection or poor
water quality. It is often caused by a gas/fluid build up behind the eye. As
a "symptom" it is not usually contagious but the cause very well might be. I
have seen it with velvet and bacterial outbreaks. I have never seen it go
away in killies. But if the cause is cured the fish can live for quite some
time with it.
Best regards,
~RJ~

I have found that a fish of mine has developed pop eye. Is there any
treatment for this ? How contagious is it?
John
