Worm problem

Ok, 

       Another problem, In one of my tanks I have little skinny worms. When I 
shook up the gravel and realized this. I have never fed any kind of worms 
ever so its not something I put in there. I remember years ago this happened 
but I don't remember what I did to get rid of them or what they were. The LFS 
said it was from overfeeding at that time.  Please can anyone help me with
