Friends,

You will earlier have seen reference in a message from me that included the information that my daughter worked in the World Trade Center. I have just received the good news that she was away on a trip and so not there this morning. I am, of course, very relieved but my heart goes out to those who have loved ones who may have been injured or lost. This morning I got a taste of the hell that they must be going through.

Nothing excuses an inhuman act such as this.
