I couldn't agree more about our native fishes.  They can be more beautiful 
than discus.  Have you seen the cingulatis(auroguttatus) from Baldwin Co. Al. 
and it is a fresh water fish?  I'm working with a chrysotus from Orange 
Beech, Al. and it is a knock out esp. when in breeding colors.    Joe
