RE: snails

Hi Allen.

Red ramshorn snails are South American. The common brown ramshorns are
native to the U.S. Both are egg layers. The Reds are nice and also come in
black and spotted versions. They will eat plants and overrun your tanks. If
you get real lucky your fish will eat their eggs or newbornes.

There is also a giant Ramshorm, It usually has white stripes. It is actually
an apple snail. it is more durable than most apples. It gets old but will
also eat plants and fish eggs for sure.

Best regards,

~RJ~
