Advice
OK, first I'm sorry if I am annoying to anyone on this list with my seemingly
stupid questions but I'm just trying to get some of this stuff down before
progressing to breeding.
My problem is I cannot for the life of me grow these plants. I got
Java Moss because it sounded like it was idiot proof but I was wrong. I
split it and put in two different tanks. One tank has only natural light from
the window the other tank has a fluorescent vitalite and is only 3/4 full.
The plants are green but they don't seem to have grown since I put them in
nor do they seem to be dying but the pH in each tank has shot up to 8.4 from
7. The tanks that don't have the moss are they same as usual. All the tanks
get the same care so it must be the plants breaking down. I gave the plants
in one tank liquid plant food but not the other. Any help would be greatly
appreciated as to why this is happening.
