Hello Pat and all
Speaking from a position of one who has been able to make a change (pat me on the back :-)) there are ways to actually change "munging up" of the posts on this list. One must realize that they are guilty of making a mess of the archives and the digest and that there really is a way to change what they are doing. I have either written to or actually called list members and let them know what their problem is and given them real help to change their computer's software or e-mail client.
Generally, people don't want to mess things up. BUT they don't have a clue!
So, a challenge to you Pat and others who know how and who know some of the subscribers of the list,
Talk to them and show them what and how on a one to one Off the list. All the posts come in with personal e-mail addresses, but if you don't know the person and the person doesn't know you this may not work out too well FLAMES are never appreciated.
But, if each of us could . . . well you get the idea - carry on!
and I've got some water to change

>Lately that's become much tougher to do, not due to fun or off topic posts,
but because of the junk munging up the posts.
