Frozen foods and ice crushers.

Years back I recall that just about everyone had an Ice Crusher. You dropped
the cubes in the top cranked the handle and out came crushed ice. I saw one
at a garage sale some time back. How about that for an idea. What's old is
new again.

Best regards,

I keep it frozen 'til needed, then use a cheese grater to shred off the
amount I need. Bigger pieces go to fish as is. Rinse out the container
later
and feed the fines to fry. Works pretty well, btu your hand can get pretty
cold while you're shredding the frozen chunk. Haven't found a better way to
 do that yet.

Thanks Donna, and all you others. The consensus certainly seems to be
grating or fine shaving. Again --- Thanks
