Your problem sounds like the Notho fade away talked about this 
spring. Joe Bulterman 's post has some potential. There is not much 
that can be done at this stage. General consensus is but only cutting 
open the gut to see with a microscope can confirm a protozoa, 
hexamita. Basically it causes the gut to become so irritated the fish 
can't swallow food. Unless you can get medication and nutrition down 
the throat there is nothing you can do.
