Could be parasites. Karl has an interesting technique that I have used with some success. Get some daphnia (filter feeders) and add some Pipizine (anti-parasitic) medication to their water. After 30 minutes or so feed it to the fish and if the fish will eat, the medication gets delivered to the gut where it might do some good. This course of tx works better at the beginning of the disease process than towards the end.

The Killie I bought from the pet store just keeps getting thinner despite
how much I feed him. He looks and acts completely normal other than he is
getting so thin I think death is coming. Can anyone give me advice? Is it an
