Re: feeding frozen paste food
Hi Frank, I carry the frozen "cake" of paste food to my fish room and use a
sharp knife to shave off small pieces directly into the tanks. For feeding
smaller fry, I try to scrape the knife across the food to produce tiny
pieces which are also just dropped into the tanks. You need to be relatively
fast while you do this so the food doesn't thaw out while you handle it.
It's much more difficult to shave off small pieces of food once it begins to
thaw and soften.
