RE: brine shrimp cysts

Yes, 70% hatch cans are cheaper now than they were 6 months ago.  Brine Shrimp Direct is a supporter of the AKA as is Jehmco and San Francisco Bay Brands.  There is a lighter, more yellow color to the eggs that were harvested from the GSL last season for a few reasons that would take too much space to discuss here.  We should know in less than a month about the predictions for this season's potential harvest.

Subject: brine shrimp cysts

I got Grade B Great Salt Lake cysts (15 oz can) from Brine Shrimp Direct. They are selling now at $25 a can plus shipping. My hatch was perfectly fine. These cysts seem lighter in color and smaller in size, but that may be my imagination. Anyway, at these prices, live nauplii are now once more affordable. I give these two thumbs up.
