Read the AKA beginner's guide, Meth.Blue has negliable 
value as a bacteriocidal agent.

Its use to stop fungus is questionable. I have seen 
beautiful blue fungus growth on eggs dyed with Meth. 
blue. IT does slow it down though... Its main use, as Ed 
Warner notes, is that of highlighting bad eggs to be 
removed.

Meth. Blue's best use is as an oxygenator. As such it 
was used to culture oxygen sensitive Acetobacter (a Gram 
negative) so they had enough O2.

I thought we cleared this arguement up last year?
