Ok....I'm a little behind in reading the posts, but here is my question:
1 ) When baking soda/bic.of soda is used, I assume that the material is
put in a larger container such as a 1 gal. plastic jug and vigorously
shaken.....then put in the subject tank slowly to achieve the desired
Ph.
2 ) I am looking at " Arm & Hammer " baking soda....is this what
everyone was referring to ? If so I am having problems stabilizing my Ph
to an acceptable level and am looking for a more economical way to raise
my ph and am worried that that this product will adversely affect my
killies ( in other words kill them ).
Can I safely (judicially) use this rather than say PH 7.0, a commercial
Ph raising/stabilizing product ? Ok guys and gals what's the word ?
Thanks in advance for your feedback.
Regards,
Leo
