What's even nicer is the man who owns the company -- Erhard Boettger
(spelling) is an old AKA member and used to raise wonderful blue gularis.
Hey, anyone who raises blue gularis has got to be all right! :)
Actually it is neat to find out a little bit about someone behind a product
which has worked well for me the few times I have needed an aquarium heater.
If anyone here ever sets up a fish tank - even a killie tank - in a
classroom, they may want to consider using those heaters in the winter. Many
schools lower their heat, as a cost saver, in the evenings and on weekends.
That may be too abrupt a temperature drop in some cases.
Also, once in a while, there will be a student who will be tempted to give
the control knob of a conventional heater a little spin. Sometimes virtue is
a lack of opportunity.
As for me, I keep an Ebo Jager, set at a modest temp, in the water
conditioning vat (set on styrofoam, but still on the floor).
All the best!
Scott
