I would suggest either a Fundulopanchax gardneri 'Akure',  Fundulopanchax
gardneri 'N'sukka', or Aplocheilus lineatus.  These I have found to be the
easiest, most forgiving and most accepting of flake, especially the lineatus
with a mouth like a trap door.
Just keep the lid on.
