having very soft water out of the tap, I need to boost the hardness. I use
Rift lake Cichlid salts in both the brine shrimp hatchery and in all my
tanks. It Buffers the pH, and used in small enough doses, helps me to
achieve the ideal hardness and pH. If I need harder water but not higher pH
I add Discus buffer to keep the pH from getting too high while adding more
Rift Lake Salts.
