Re: Hard Water

Hello:

Sorry about the question, but I don't have much experience keeping killifish 
(other than keeping some native North American ones), and I wanted to know 
if anyone could suggest some African/South American  Killies that would not 
mind the hard and alkaline tap water here in Los Angeles.  I ask because I 
know that, for example, almost all the literature says Neon Tetras should be 
kept in soft, acidic water, but the ones here are kept in hard and alkaline 
water with no problems apparently.  Thanks.
