Re: Joining the AKA
Being from the Boston-New England area, I'd like to jump in here.
Frankly, I feel that is an unfair assessment. There are _good_ people from
this area who keep killies and frankly, I haven't found any of them to be
stingy with information or fish. My experiences have been quite the
opposite. They have shared their stock with me, often for free, and have
freely exchanged info and ideas.
BTW, _please_ refer to the killie organization in this neck of the woods as
New England Killifish Association (NEKA is how it's often referred to).
"Boston" is what people think of for The Boston Aquarium Society. The two
clubs are not the same critter. Sorry, but I'm just being the picky Virgo
that I am :-)
