Re: AIR PUMPS

I always hang my pumps (regular Hagen Maximas and other small types
because I can't afford a linnear pump and pvc system yet) with rubber bands
or elastic cord. This always results in less noise because much vibration
is absorbed by the elastic and there is no reverberation from the solid
surface. It also has the added advantage of not needing a check valve in
case of power failure because the pump is above the tanks.
