Between the HCl of Muriatic and the weak acetic acid of vinegar, is a
product called "CLR"* that's available in the drug/hardware stores. I've had
fair results on really limed-up hard water tanks with it. Watch out, tho, as
it can do a number on your skin. Follow directions.
