Hi Paul,

I tend to recall that said that you had some special needs regarding quiet
with your fish set up.
I usually pick up old air pumps and rebuild them. Three smaller air pumps
come to mind when I think quiet.

The first one is the Whisper Supra 4, This one would most likely be ok to
keep in a bedroom if necessary. The Whisper 800 is also very quiet if you
turn down the power on the dial and do not run it at full capacity.

I just repaired a Silent Giant. And although I never saw a new one run, the
one I just finished seems pretty quiet.

As to pumps in current production, my friend seems to like his Tetra DW96-2.
It seems reasonably quiet but he keeps it in a cabinet under his fish tank.
It is now coming up on its first rebuild and it is almost 2 years old.
