Re: fish food
I recall the claim somewhere that a certain percentage of raw chicken is
likely to be infected with salmonella. Those things, like cold viruses and
e-coli tend to naturally be around in the environment more than we would
like. (So much for fondue.) Not meant as an alarmist statement, but (Bro
Paul probably already does this) make sure that one washes their hands
afterwards. Many of us do that after feeding black worms already.
Would the chicken meat be palatable and still nutritious to the killies if
it was cooked first? I seem to remember as a kid, dicing up a little turkey
breast and dumping tiny fragments in the community tank. If we got sloppy,
we had a neat oil slick too. ;)
