I have never run into belly sliders with killies, but i have with angelfish 
and certain species of cichlids. With the angelfish and cichlids, belly 
sliders are caused by to much aeration with the fry. The excessive aeration 
causes the frys swim (air) bladder to develop improperly. This hinders the 
fishes ability to control their bouyancy.
