Just the name. The species *gardneri* was moved from *Aphyosemion* to the
genus *Fundulopanchax* some years ago, but parts of the hobby were slow to
catch up.

Names are given in scientific papers, sometimes debated, and eventually
there is usually a consensus on what the proper name really is. *Fp.* went
through more controversy than most.

[Some of us use the ** as net shorthand for italics, since plain text
doesn't support them. All scientific (latin) names are supposed to be in
italics.]
