I agree with you completely about supporting the local aquarium society
and helping getting ppl interested in killifish through that means.
I was first introduced to killifish by members of my local aquarium
society that were also killie keepers. As things turned out UNYKA had
about half of its membership also belonging to the same local aqaurium
society CNYAS. If it hadnt been for the local clubs annual auction,
I wouldnt have purchased those first two pairs of killies, I started off
With Fp Gardneri and Aphyosemion Striatum. It wasnt long after that
auction i was invited to my first killie meeting and was heading off to
my first AKA convention in Milwaukee.
So help your local aquarium clubs with thier events and get some ppl
hooked on killies!!
