Lampeyes

Hello Everyone,

          I am relatively new to the list. Actually, I have been on it for a
few months but have never really said anything. I have been in the hobby
seriously for about a year. Basically I like planted tanks and small fish,
especially schooling fish.
         I joined the list to find out info on Lampeyes and where and how I
could obtain some. I know they are hard to come by in the US and most fish
shops don't order them when they are on the lists. Right now, an associate of
mine , in Washington (I am in Atlanta, Ga) has the oppertunity to order some
for me. The list he has names two species, Neon Lampeyes and Medak Lampeyes.
I can't find any of those common names in my fish books. I am assuming that
the Neon Lampeye is most likely A.Normani. Does anyone have any idea what the
latin name for the Medak species is or if the Neon species is Normani.
