I have lots of kinds in tanks with more light than killies usually like. :-)

For them, I do mostly Java moss and Java fern. It takes a huge amount to be
a good ammonia sponge with low light limiting photosynthesis, tho. I also
use a lot of Water Sprite (usually floating) and floating duckweed and
Salvinia. I have small compact fluorescents (9W or 13W) over most of my
killy tanks, so they are brighter than those of many other killinuts.

In retrospect it becomes clear that hindsight is definitely overrated.
