As a further addition to my thoughts on inbreeding. I do not make it a 
practice to preserve every hatchling. Culling by my divine intervention or by 
natural survival of the fittest has been my choice. That fits with the 
observation that culling is important to eliminate the weaker fishes. That is 
what happens in nature. A large sunfish, recently deceased, was the 
beneficiary of much of this culling. Commercial or semi-commercial raising of 
fish in numbers may not do as much culling as the typical hobbyist who is 
only raising a few for himself and a trade or two.
