Re: E. sp. aff. hildegardea Mt Nimab CI??

Hi,
The fish was commercially imported from the Mt Nimba area of Guinea by
Oliver Lucanus in, I think, 1998. I posted for help with
olbrechtsi/hildegardei and had an answer from Dr Romand, who gave some
loose guidelines to help with I.D. I (probably erroneously) decided they
were hildegardae. I don't know there, but I later suggested they be
distributed as sp Mt Nimba til someone with more experience of the
region got hold of them.
There have been some flames and such on the I.D. attempt, but no real
debate as yet.
I still have a trio of F-1 fish, but can't get eggs from them. They are
bruisers, and really neat, if shy and drab, fish.
