As many of you are aware, SpectraPure is a supporter of the AKA. At the
last Convention in Buffalo, they donated the R/O unit that was auctioned on
Sunday morning. I myself have a SpectraPure 80 GPD unit and I would not
trade it. The fact that SpectraPure makes quality products and supports the
AKA is all I need to know. Having an R/O unit has enabled me to breed
killi's that I was unsuccessful at breeding otherwise. Charles Mitsis is

Well my dilema got solved for me! I was talking with a
friend the LFS that I used to work for and he is
selling me his old SpectraPure 4-stage 60 gpd RO unit
for $50!! Wow. Only drawback is that I have to buy all
the cartridges and a new membrane. Did I understand
that I can get these at Home Depot? What do I need to
look for as far as a membrane goes?
