   Pick a large killie from the (gar family)  Small ones seem to get 
lost in such a large tank.  And remember small killie in my opinion 
are really meant for small tanks.

I set up a well planted 38 gallon, and have Australe and N. Guentheri doing 
well, but both C. Nigripinnis and C. Whitei fared poorly.  Hope that helps.  
Waiting to see what other feedback you get.
