I am back but I NEVER mess with the list. I do maintenance, of course, that
that ain't messin'. :o)
What Scott describes has nothing to do with the list itself. It is most
likely explained by some of the messages being hung up somewhere on route
to him. The messages to any person from any other person follow different
routes through various mail servers. Messages can be delayed to varying
extents. For example, it is common for me to receive replies to some
messages before I receive the original. A long delay like this probably
means some server somewhere was having a problem that was fixed after the
7/4 holiday.
