Re: chlorine, chloramines and sodium thiosulphate
I keep a 30-gallon barrel of tap water (and another of RO water) with a
powerhead for circulation. As I only need a small amount at any one time, by
the time I take the water the chlorine/chloramine is gone. Sometimes I add
Kordon dechlorinators when I make up a fresh barrel, but most of the time
it's not necessary, especially if I am only topping off the barrel and there
was already a half barrel there. I agree that avoidance of chemicals beats
calculating concentrations.
