RE: Large natural set-up

Hi Bob,

With that much water space just about any water incubating killifish will do well. Many years back some people even raised annuals in large tanks. they drained them for a few weeks to a few months leaving the gravel wet and then refilled them.  The only problem can be the larger power filters often used to run these large tanks. Make sure that the input can not suck up killie fry.

Best regards,

~RJ~

Subject: Large natural set-up

Hi, I would like to know the best fish for a large, aproximately 130 gallon planted tank that is colorful, easy to feed and maintain, and can self-populate the tank. Would any of the gardneri work? How about australe?
