The humidity is a GREAT thing in the winter - almost NO static electricity. I 
thought about sealing my "fish basement" when we moved in here (I still may 
to keep the temp above 65 degrees in the winter) but that's in the future. 
And I will certainly miss the benefits of an unsealed fish room if I do.
