Re: Killie Fry and velvet & Copper
Follow up to initial post regarding velvet and notho fry...
I have been adding salt to my fry tank steadily for days now. I am seeing a
decline in the amount of spots that the fish have been exhibiting. I have
lost very few fish since the start of the outbreak.
I am amazed at how much salt is being required to knock the velvet out.
There is a sponge filter in the tank driven by an air stone, the bubbles are
similar to a airstone in a salt water tank, very fine bubbles. I could hatch
bbs in the tank by now, and yet the nothos are doing good, despite the high
salinity pH and velvet spots. Tough little guys.
